Taylor Swift 'Blank Space' Inspired Makeup Look + Tutorial

Yes, I can't get over Taylor Swift Blank Space song and music video! Hahaha

I actually made this makeup look right after the video was out, but yeah, assignments and finals.. *sigh*

Anyway, if you take a really detailed look on Blank Space video, you will find that Taylor Swift has a few makeup looks in the entire video. I decided to choose this makeup look for this time tutorial.

I choose this makeup look over her famous apple-scene because in this scene her lip color was darker. Hahaha, yes that was my reason. Also, because her eye makeup looked more smokey in this scene.

As my blog post title said 'inspired', so this makeup look will not 100% similar to Taylor Swift's makeup on the video. I told you this, just in case if you are wondering why my makeup creation looks a little different.

I didn't show you how I do my face base, because I did it in very basic method such as moisturizer + bb cream + foundation + concealer + loose translucent powder. Just that. Well, just do your basic base routine lah.. Hahaha :p

Anyway, here is the eye makeup tutorial, just for you my dear readers~ :*

Step by step for eye makeup :
- Place a clear tape on the outer corner of your eyes.
- Apply the eyeshadow base to your eyelid.
- Apply the Bleach color or matte white sand color to the eyelid.
- Apply the Nameless color or shimmer taupe color to the above your crease area.
- Blend it by using a blending brush.
- Take off the tape then apply the same color to your lower lash line.
- Apply the Shakedown color or shimmer dark grayish brown on your crease area and the outer corner of your eyes.
- Blend it by using a blending brush.
- Make a winged eyeliner.
- Take the Shakedown again, apply it to your lower lash line.
- With a pencil eyeliner, here I'm using Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Zero, apply it on 1/3 part of your outer eye corner.
- Curl your lashes.
- Apply the fake lashes for more dramatic effect.
- Draw or fill your eyebrow.

- Contour your cheek and also add blush on your apple's of cheek.

- Contour and highlight your nose.

- Pick your darkest red lipstick, I used red with brown undertone lipstick here.

To match my entire look with the Blank Space glamour-high-end ambience, I completed this look with black velvet bolero and pearl necklace.
